Graphite Soft Felt

Graphite soft felt is a kind of refractory insulation material, specially used in high temperature vacuum furnaces and inert gas furnace. It is characterized by high carbon content, good heat resistance, low ash content, low sulfur content, good oxidation resistance, and ease of cutting and installation. It can also be purified to less than 20 ppm if required.

Applications

Graphite soft felt is used as a thermal insulator in a wide range of industries, including the solar, semiconductor monocrystalline silicon, synthetic crystal and fiber optic industries. It is also used in high-end vacuum sintering furnaces, heat treatment furnaces and high frequency induction furnaces. As an important insulating and refractory material, graphite soft felt is used in various high temperature furnaces, such as monocrystalline furnaces, carburization furnaces, quartz furnaces, vacuum furnaces, induction furnaces, high-frequency furnaces, heat-balance reaction furnaces, heat-treatment furnaces, sintering furnaces, and high-pressure furnaces.
